2. TECHNICAL PROCESS FOR SESAME SEED DIVISION

To ensure a flat, aesthetically pleasing roof with good drainage, please follow these steps to determine the batten spacing:

Step 1: Determine the first batten row (f)

Measure the distance from the top of the rafter to the center of the first batten row:
If the roof slope is 35-45 degrees: The spacing is 30 mm.
If the roof slope is over 45 degrees: The spacing is 20 mm.

Step 2: Determine the standard batten spacing (L1)

Step 3: Treat the last batten row (L2)

Divide the batten spacing evenly from the roof peak downwards. The remaining excess will be added to the last row spacing (L2).
Note: The last batten row must be raised 20 mm higher than the rows above to create the correct drainage slope.

3.IMPORTANT CONSTRUCTION RECOMMENDATIONS

Material synchronization: Use products from the same production batch and with the same color code (suffix) to avoid color discrepancies.
Ideal roof slope: Minimum 35 degrees (Optimal: 35-45 degrees).
Roof truss standards:
- Rafter dimensions: > 40 x 80 mm (Spacing 800-1200 mm).
- Batten dimensions: Width 25-40 mm.
- Warning: Do not glue tiles directly onto concrete roofs; do not use wooden or concrete battens.
Roofing technique:
- Roofing in straight lines (not staggered).
- Roofing direction: From left to right, from bottom to top.
Screw installation technique:
- Use screws 60-70 mm long, 4-5 mm in diameter.
- Apply moderate force, avoiding overtightening which could cause cracks in the holes.
- It is mandatory to screw in all main tiles (both whole and cut tiles).
Handling edge tiles: Avoid cutting main tiles at the edges. Align the edges of the edge tiles and the main tiles.
